Pulido Transport attends East End Chamber of Commerce Vision Luncheon 2019

Houston, TX – March 22, 2019

Pulido Transport attended the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce Vision Luncheon 2019 on Tuesday, March 19. Pulido Transport was represented by Alex Suescun, CFO. In partnership with University of Houston’s Hobby School of Public Affairs and the East End Management District, the 2019 East End Vision Luncheon featured findings from the East End Houston Economic Survey to measure the way the East End area is changing and growth insights for the area which includes the new Gulf Coast Distillers Tasting Room and the East River development project spanning 150 acres formerly owned by Houston-based KBR which is bordered by little over a mile of the Buffalo Bayou.

Dr. David McClendon presented the key findings of the East End Houston Economic Survey prepared by the Hobby School of Public Affairs at the University of Houston. The findings will be updated bi-annually. The expectation is that this new survey will be instrumental for organizations looking to do business with or in the East End.

David Hightower, Executive Vice President of Development at Midway, will provide an update on the East River project, where culture and commerce will thrive, creating an active district along more than a mile of East End waterfront, channeling Houston’s rich history to inspire a bold vision for its future.

Carlos deAldecoa Bueno, President of both,  Cadeco Industries, the leading service provider of raw coffee process and Gulf Coast Distillers, the producers of vodka, gin, rum, bourbon and whiskey, both in Houston’s Historic East End. He gave an update on the Distillery and shared details on their new Tasting Room that will soon be open to the public.

As stated by Alex Suescun, “The Vision Luncheon was a great opportunity to learn more about the exciting future of the East End.  Also, it was a great venue to network and meet other businesses within the East End”.
