Pulido Transport volunteers at the 2019 Houston Regional Truck Driving Championship

Houston, TX – May 22, 2019

Pulido Transport’s Safety & Compliance Director, Charlie Maloy, volunteered on Saturday, May 18, at the 2019 Houston Regional Truck Driving Championship.  96 drivers competed to receive the best scores in hopes of becoming the Grand Champion.

It takes many hours and volunteers to organize this event at the Houston Community College Northeast campus.  Participants included drivers from FedEx, HEB, YRC, UPS and Walmart.  As said by Charlie Maloy, “This is a great event to meet with other transportation professionals and to give the drivers an opportunity to put their skills on display.”

The 2019 Grand Champion is Thomas “Theo” Wilson with HEB
