Pulido Transport participates in the East End Chamber 2019 Scholarship Golf Tournament

Houston, TX – April 4, 2019

Pulido Transport participated in the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce 2019 Scholarship Golf Tournament on Monday, April 1. The Pulido Transport team consisted of Alex Suescun, Pulido Transport CFO, Jeremy Pulido, Pulido Transport Relationship Manager, Matthew Smith, Lubrizol, and Larry Darr, Kinder Morgan.

The Golf Tournament raised funds for scholarships in Houston’s East End. The event sponsor was Valero Houston Refinery. The 2019 Honoree is Council Member Robert Gallegos. Past honorees include, Congressman Gene Green, the late Steve Stewart, Gulf Winds International; Fred Newhouse, formerly of Valero Houston Refinery; Commissioner Clyde Fitzgerald, ILA -South Atlantic & Gulf Coast District; Captain Robert Thompson, Houston Pilots Association; Senator Sylvia R. Garcia; Commissioner Dean E. Corgey; Bill Garcia of Garcia Realty and John Taylor of Houston Mooring Company.  A scholarship in honor of Council Member Robert Gallegos was awarded at the lunch.

As stated by Alex Suescun, “The Golf Tournament was for a worthy cause. It was a great opportunity to make new friends.”
