Leadership

A Legacy Built on Grit. A Future Built on Precision.

Pulido Transport was founded in 1995 by Joe Pulido, a former truck driver whose hands-on experience and relentless work ethic laid the foundation for what the company is today. From a single owner-operator in Houston, Joe built Pulido Transport into a trusted bulk liquid carrier serving customers across the United States.

Today, that foundation remains—but the company has entered a new chapter.

Leadership has transitioned to a new generation focused on scalable growth, operational excellence, and technology-driven execution, while preserving the core values that built the company: safety, reliability, and accountability.

Peniel Lim – Managing Partner & CEO

Peniel Lim leads Pulido Transport with a focus on strategic growth, operational discipline, and long-term value creation.

With a background in science, engineering thinking, and business strategy, Peniel is driving the company toward:

  • Data-driven dispatch and logistics optimization
  • Higher asset utilization and capital efficiency
  • Expansion into chemical transportation markets
  • Investment in infrastructure, technology, and equipment

His leadership reflects a clear mandate:
Execute the fundamentals flawlessly while building a scalable, modern transportation company.

Alex Suescun – President, COO & CFO

Alex Suescun leads both operational execution and financial discipline, ensuring the company performs efficiently at every level of the business.

He oversees:

  • Dispatch execution and fleet utilization
  • Driver performance and safety compliance
  • Customer service and on-time delivery
  • Financial controls, cost management, and margin performance

Alex plays a critical role in driving cost efficiency across each step of the value chain, aligning operations with financial performance to ensure sustainable, profitable growth as the company scales.

Joe Pulido – Founder & Advisor

Joe Pulido continues to serve as a trusted advisor to the company, actively contributing to both culture and operational performance.

He plays a direct and ongoing role in:

  • Keeping driver morale high, speaking into their lives, and helping build their character—strengthening retention, accountability, and culture across the fleet
  • Supporting and advising the truck and trailer maintenance program, a major cost driver (~10% of total cost), helping improve reliability and reduce out-of-service risk
  • Advising and helping select trucks and trailers we buy or lease, ensuring decisions maximize long-term value through more miles, better uptime, and lower lifecycle cost

Joe’s experience as a former driver and founder provides practical, real-world insight that continues to shape both day-to-day execution and long-term decisions.

His legacy remains embedded in Pulido Transport’s culture:

  • Do the job right
  • Take care of the customer
  • No shortcuts
