Pulido Transport remembers Martin Luther King Jr.

Pulido Transport remembers the leader of the African-American Civil Rights Movement, Martin Luther King Jr. on this day.  Through his use of nonviolent civil disobedience, King advanced civil rights and, for his efforts, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize,  Presidential Medal of Freedom and Congressional Gold Medal.  His efforts resulted in advancing the ideals of America.

It’s good to remember on this day some of King’s wise words:

• “Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. …
• “I have decided to stick to love…Hate is too great a burden to bear.” …
• “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” …
• “Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase.”
